Brett Moore’s one-man show, Batter Up! is headed to Spring Training in the Cactus League!
It started as a dare. It was December 2018… Christmas Night? Sometime between Christmas and New Year’s? Somewhere in there. Jenn and I were over at Erin and Brett’s for dinner. It was after the meal and we were hanging out over coffee when Brett started telling us about this game he and Erin play while they’re on long drives to keep each other entertained.

The Hollywood Fringe Festival is almost upon us! From June 8th to June 25th, over two hundred and fifty individual productions will be going up at venues across Hollywood.

As anyone who dabbles in theatrical effects knows, cheap stage blood is very unforgiving and will stain your skin and clothes if you look at it the wrong way, whereas most commercially available bottles of “washable fabric-safe fake blood” come in tiny bottles that are prohibitively expensive. So, how do we keep the cleaning budget from ballooning out of control? By making it ourselves using my tried and true, super-sexy, fabric-safe, no-stain washable stage blood recipe, that’s how!
