My new demo reel!

Bring on the coffee! I’m gonna need it in order to keep it up at this insane pace.

In the last few weeks, I’ve signed with a new manager, signed with a new agent, got new headshots (courtesy of Rob Kazandjian) and recut my demo reel.

None of this would have been possible had it not been for all of the prep work I’ve been doing: re-reading The Business of Acting, attending career workshops at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, working on my physical and mental health, reevaluating my process and work ethic (boy, have I become obsessed with process), and establishing my brand.

Here’s the skinny on my new reel.

Scenes: Witness interrogated by the police, Unfaithful Husband argues with his wife, Socially Awkward Tech Genius argues with partner, Mr. Nice Guy breaks bad, Arrogant doctor struggles with his own failings, Socially Awkward Tech Genius gets the last word.

  • 0:00 – College volleyball coach interrogated by police over a student’s murder.
  • 0:11 – An unfaithful husband tries to hide his indiscretions from his overtaxed wife.
  • 0:32 – Socially awkward tech genius argues with his legendary peer.
  • 0:46 – Arrogant surgeon struggles with his shortcomings when he has to talk to the family of a patient that died on his operating table.
  • 1:15 – Mr. Nice Guy breaks bad and confronts his crooked partner-in-crime about the whereabouts of their stolen loot.

And my new headshots! There were so many good ones from this session, I couldn’t pick just one.

What’s the old saying? Luck equals preparation plus opportunity?

Well, I’m feeling pretty lucky right now.

And I think there’s even more good luck coming my way for the foreseeable future.

Onward and upward.
