Two weeks down. Four days to go, and only two opportunities left to catch the smash-hit A Very DIE HARD Christmas at studio/stage! This show’s been KILLING. IT. at the festival this year. Literally. But again, don’t just take my word for it:

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past three and a half years, previous productions of A Very DIE HARD Christmas have been Stage Raw Recommended and multiple WOW! ratings from StageSceneLA.

The story goes as such: High above the city of L.A., a team of terrorists has seized a building, taken hostages, and declared war. One man has managed to escape. An off-duty cop hiding somewhere inside. He’s alone, tired…and he doesn’t like Christmas.

Come get a little holiday cheer in June as Theatre Unleashed brings back one of its most popular shows for a short but wild summer run to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of Die Hard. Action, humor, Professor Snape taking people hostage, singing, dancing, the guy from Family Matters, guns, puppets, explosions, the EPA guy from Ghostbusters getting punched in the face, Christmas miracles and familiar holiday friends galore. Maybe even an appearance by the legend himself, Santa Claus! This is much more than a stage version of the holiday classic, its parody at its best. Yippee Ki-Yay, Father Christmas!

This weekend’s filling up quickly. Don’t miss out.

Speaking of spectacular, Met Again is also breaking hearts and taking names! Get your tickets ASAP!

Finally, my love-letter to Boston Red Sox baseball, Pink Hat Blues, has been running this month as a part of Live From the Hobgoblin, It’s Hank! at The Hobgoblin Playhouse! Graydon and Soda do a fantastic job with one of my favorite ten-minute plays. It’s something worth seeing, especially if you love the Sox.

Fringe On!
